Course Syllabus: – Realtor Self Defense Tactical Training 3 Credited Hours
Instructor: Master Scott Mulhollen
Location: Thompson Builders: 3333 Refugee Rd. Columbus, OH 43232
Hours: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Registration to begin at 9:15 am)
Course Description:
10:00 – 11:00 – Understanding the limitations and know how of applying applicable safety steps when showing a residence to a perspective buyer.
11:00 – 11:30 – Create useful preventive maintenance techniques within the restrictions of the surrounding environment and personal abilities.
11:30 – 12:00 – Break for Lunch
12:00 – 1:00 – Learn and practice useful tools of defense including proper targeting areas of the body and proper attacking mechanics. Begin working close quarter tactics that require a physical response to defend and escape.
1:00 – 1:30 – Conclude working on close quarter tactics that require a physical response to defend and escape including such scenarios involving a weapon* attack.
*This course will
NOT involve teaching the student how to use a weapon (stun guns, pepper spray, pistol etc) rather how to disarm in case a weapon is used on them.
Course Objective:
This course is intended to improve the students’ knowledge of practical self defense tactics dealing with potential issues in the real estate field and to affectively apply taught skills.
